Client Profile:
PARAMOUNT EXTRUSIONS COMPANY is the leader in aluminum extrusions, shapes and unique profiles. With over 10,000 tools made, Paramount Extrusions Company has been the source for extruded aluminum shapes since 1953.
Scope of Project:
- New custom website design that is mobile-friendly
- Client provided new logo and branding
- Client provided sample websites for preferred look and feel – simple, clean, with a focus on ‘Get a Quote’ action
- Site should focus around allowing users to fill out a quote request
- Allow client to make minor updates
Solution and Process:
- Selected WordPress as the solution for CMS as it provides robust customization while allowing client to easily make minor content updates
- Analyzed client-provided sample websites along with client logo and branding to establish a general idea of what client wanted in new website
- Created multiple internal wireframes to establish information layout
- Created high-fidelity mock-ups in multiple rounds to finalize design with client
- Converted final designs to a custom WordPress theme
- Included integration with custom quote system
- Included responsive web design for scalability of website from mobile to tablet to desktop screens
